It’s not rocket science to wash a car, but there are methods that produce better results than your typical $10 car wash.

If you’re looking for a fast and cheap option to get your car washed in Brewster, we most likely won’t be a great fit for you. We take the wash process further to provide a higher quality level of service and results.

Our Wash and Wax can be pretty misleading. At AL’S Mobile Detailing our Wash and Wax service includes a lot more than washing the vehicle and topping it with Wax. We are resetting the outside of your car. From the wheels and exhaust tips to your paint and glass. Your paint will look & feel great, it will also be protected from the elements, a true transformation.

Wash and Wax

    1. Wheel/Tire/Wheel Well Complete Detail - Cleaning the face of the wheels, wheel barrel, tires, wheel wells.

    2. Road Tar, Sap, Bug, Bird Dropping - Removal of all that pesky road tar, sap, & bird dropping that can ruin your paint.

    3. Complete Exterior Wash - Removal of dirt on your vehicles paint.

    4. Decontamination - Chemical removal or embedded contaminates in your paint via iron remover & clay bar.

    5. Wax/Sealant - While your vehicle is still wet; we spray a polymer sio2 one panel at a time and rinse to all surfaces of your vehicle leaving a protection of 3-to-6-month duration.

    6. Towel Dry & Air Blower - Getting into the tight areas where water likes to hide, we blast it out with our air blower & finish with a soft plush drying towel.

    7. Door Jamb Detail & Protection - A clean door jamb makes or breaks a vehicle.

    8. Tire Dressing & Protection - Add shine & protection on Wheel/Tire/Wheel Well from dirt & brake dust.

    9. Black Trim - Dressed & protected.

    10. Glass Cleaning - Exterior/Interior Streak free glass.

Wash and Wax FAQs

  • Yes, we’re mobile based so we’d clean the exterior at your home, apartment, or work location. We service the Greater Brewster area and surrounding areas like Patterson, Pawling, Carmel, North Salem, Mahopac, Somers, Ridgefield, New Fairfield, Danbury, Brookfield, Bethel etc…

  • We have a few brands we use like Rupes, Koch Chemie & Collinite 845. So it comes down to what we’re working on and what we decide is best fitting. Our go-to choice is Rupes Uno Advanced.

  • It’s all depends how you store your car. If it’s garaged at work and at home 80% of the time, then it can last between two to four months. If you have your car sitting out in the sun, cold, and rain 100% of the time, then maybe you can get four months out of it.

    Also, if you wash your car with dish soap, then you’ll start stripping the protective layer of wax off your paint.

  • If we’re working at your home location, then if possible, we’ll use the electrical out and water spigot you have. If we’re working at an apartment or your work location, we have our own water supply that we use. Regardless, we can get the job done!

  • Applying a wax will hide the micro-light swirls and scratches in your paint. They’re essentially “filled in” with the wax which creates more shine. So technically it does hide the reallllly light scratches, but it does not actually remove any of them.

    Nonetheless, your paint will look much glossier because the wax creates a more “flat” surface.
